I've reported on Cozy Earth for about as long as I've covered Amazon Prime Day sales as a shopping editor, which is seven years, so I'm very familiar with the brand's sale rhythms. Cozy Earth always matches Amazon's deals and adds an incentive to shop on its own site (typically a bigger discount if you buy multiple items), and this year was no different. But Amazon just tipped the scales in its favor: Every Cozy Earth Prime Day deal is now 25% off, up from 20% off at the start of the sale.

Why the Cozy Earth Waffle bath towels are the deal I'd shop first

Made of 60% Cotton and 40% Viscose from Bamboo, these quick-dry waffle weave bath towel sets include four washcloths, two hand towels, two bath towels, and two bath sheets.

I received the Cozy Earth Waffle Bath Towels from the brand for editorial consideration around three years ago — just after it landed on Oprah's Favorite Things list — and I haven't wrapped myself in anything else post-shower since. One side is like your standard towel, and that's what hits my body first, quickly absorbing moisture without getting wet itself. The other side has that luxurious waffle weave, and that's what I use to rub down my skin until it's completely dry. Like most Cozy Earth products, the fabric blend contains viscose derived from bamboo, which gives the towels their soft, luxurious feel.

They're also pretty attractive, as far as towels go. Before receiving these, my multicolored cotton towels were giving "dorm bathroom." Now, the soft, subtle color and waffle texture of the Cozy Earth towels — especially the hand towels — lend the space a more adult, sophisticated feel. They have no problems with the washing machine, and I have yet to pull out a loose thread, which signals their structural integrity.

Things to Consider

While the towels have softened over time, they're still not the softest towels I've ever used. Those would be the Frontgate Resort Collection towels, which Business Insider happened to name the best bath towel. But personally, I find them a bit too plush — I prefer the weight and feel of Cozy Earth's. If you do like a plush towel, the Frontgate towels are on sale for 30% off.

Also, they're pricey. Even with this Prime Day deal, the set is still over $200, which is a lot for towels. If you don't need the whole 10-piece set, the towels are available in sets of two for $81. Still, the Cozy Earth waffle towels are a meaningful upgrade to everyday life that you won't have to think about replacing for several months, and I don't think you'll see a discount like this again for several months.

If I'm not planning to get dressed for a while after showering, I'll reach for the waffle robe after drying off with the bath sheet. It's much thicker than the towels and thus more plush, which is what I want in a towel bathrobe, and I love the coordinated look.

These bamboo sheets are the first thing I tried from Cozy Earth, and I prefer them to other cooling sheets I've tested. Even though they wrinkle pretty easily, they have a rich, silky feel. They're certainly a splurge for sheets, but their high price tag is reflected in the quality.

I almost never see these cooling pajamas for under $100. They're made almost entirely with bamboo viscose, plus a touch of spandex for stretch, so they're basically a wearable version of the brand's award-winning sheets. I sleep too hot for real pajamas in the summer, but I love my long-sleeve-and-pants sets in the winter.

These are the travel pants Business Insider editors recommend for long flights. Personally, I wear them for long sits on the couch, but I should wear them out of the house more often — they're actually really flattering on my curvy shape.

Prime Day saves you nearly $100 on this oversized faux-fur throw blanket. I've seen this one sell out before, so even if you won't use it until the fall, I'd grab it now to beat the holiday shopping rush. It's fur-lined on both sides, insanely soft, and has a slightly weighted feel.
